The company Extrutec from Moos will create the opportunity for further expansion in the next twelve months with a new building in the immediate vicinity of the existing building. The two-and-a-half-story building is initially intended to improve the working conditions of the now over 40 employees. Because they have had to move ever closer together over the past three years.
The reason for this was the rapid growth of the company, which began around 20 years ago in the Radolfzell Innovation Center (RIZ). Extrutec has now become a market leader in the area of aluminum processing into profiles. While the engineers based in the Eichweg III commercial area in Moos plan and develop the systems there, the company has a production site in Menden, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The growth buffer was used up
The building that we moved into in 2021 has now been too small for a long time due to the strong growth. The company “built the premises with a 30 percent growth buffer,” as Joachim Sokoll, division manager for thermal systems, reported at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new building.

For Mayor Patrick Krauss, not only the settlement but also the renewed expansion that is now being carried out was “a blessing for the community and the population,” as he stated. In doing so, Extrutec is creating the basis for additional jobs in the municipality of Moos, which will benefit the entire population through the expected trade tax.
The new building is located on the opposite side of the street and is being implemented by the same planners and companies that were involved in the construction of the original building. There they created workplaces with a certain feel-good character that makes outsiders think more of living spaces. This atmosphere should be reflected in the new building. At the same time, you want to advertise for additional employees that you will need in the future.
