The relationship between Iñaki Urdangarin and Ainhoa Armentia is going from strength to strength and, proof of this, is that they enjoyed a romantic getaway to Formentera, as Diez Minutos magazine revealed on the cover of this Wednesday, October 2. The couple, who They have been dating for more than two yearshas taken advantage of the low season of September to enjoy the last days of good weather on the Balearic island.
In the images revealed by the gossip magazine, both seem to show great chemistry and complicity, which in other words means that they are going through a very good stage. Infanta Cristina’s ex-partner and the lawyer gave free rein to their love on the Pitusa island, proving once again that their love story is true.
However, things did not go quite as they thought, because during their stay in Formentera they had to face some setbacks. According to the information collected by Lecturas magazine, Iñaki and Ainhoa have not been able to enjoy all the pleasures that the island offers, because despite the heat, the weather conditions prevented them from enjoying the crystal-clear waters of its coves. And many areas had a red flag due to the strong wind.

In this way, the couple had to resort to plan B to enjoy their stay on the island. Thus, they moved to the other end of the Pitusa island, where the wind did not hit the sea so much to take a dip. Of course, Iñaki and Ainhoa were clear that these dates were the best because they have had much more space to enjoy their privacy because it is low season.
Without a doubt, the two have been able to walk and have confidences that, at another time in the summer, they would not have been able to calmly show in public. According to information from Diez Minutos, they both ate at one of the best-known restaurants in Formentera with some friends. There they tasted one of the island’s typical rice dishes.

Aware that the day was not entirely favorable to be on the beaches and coves due to the clouds and strong wind, they decided to spend the afternoon taking an excursion “in the interior of the island” after renting a scooter and going to a “one of the greenest areas of the archipelago”, according to the aforementioned publication. In addition, they also visited Ses Illetes cove, one of the most beautiful and well-known on the island. There, they took a bath with some friends. As if that were not enough, the spotlights married him by carrying, with which they flaunted their role as athletes. Iñaki lay down on the sand, raised his arms up and she ran to get on while he reached out to support her.
The relationship between Iñaki Urdangarin and Ainhoa Armentia came to the spotlight in 2022, when the former athlete was married to the sister of Felipe VI. However, his life has changed a lot in these two and a half years. Now, he is divorced from the mother of his four children and, in addition, has settled his pending accounts with the justice system.
The former Duke of La Palma and Ainhoa Armentia met at the law firm where he was working when he received the third prison degree in 2021 and, currently, the two have lived in an apartment located in Vitoria since the beginning of 2023, when they decided to give one more step in their relationship, just days after Iñaki signed his divorce with Felipe VI’s sister. The two agreed and chose the same area to establish their new home: an urbanization on the outskirts of Vitoria where the former athlete’s mother, Claire Liebaert, who is their neighbor, also lives.
