Scots (sw). The next blood donation event of the German Red Cross (DRK) in Schotten will take place next Friday, October 11th, from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the festival hall. This is reported by the DRK mountain rescue service Schotten, which carries out this service on a voluntary basis.
As the DRK informs, blood is needed every day to care for patients. For example, in the treatment of cancer, operations or accident injuries. The summer holidays are a particularly important time for donating blood.
The DRK Baden-Württemberg-Hessen blood donation service urgently appeals to people to donate blood now and in the next few weeks so that the security of supply of life-saving blood preparations can be maintained without interruption and a shortage can be avoided.
