Francesco Bagnaia was the fastest in the session Free Practice (FP) 2 MotoGP Japan 2024which was held shortly before the certification session. The current standings leader, Jorge Martin, is in seventh position.
At the start of the FP2 session in Motegi, Saturday morning (5/10) WIB, Jorge Martin was the first to show his speed at the Motegi Circuit with a time of 1 minute 47.777 seconds.
After that, several other riders managed to sharpen their best time in FP2. Starting from Pedro Acosta, Francesco Bagnaia, to Jack Miller with 1 minute 45.414 seconds.

After that, it was Marc Marquez’s turn to go faster. His time of 1 minute 45.230 seconds put him ahead of Pedro Acosta, Jack Miller, Joan Mir and Francesco Bagnaia.
Shortly after, Bagnaia was seen entering the pit. It seemed that something was bothering him, even though he was in third place at the time FP2 MotoGP Japan 2024 for the meantime.
Jorge Martin cut his time to 1 minute 45.158 seconds to put him in the top position. But Francesco Bagnaia beat him with 1 minute 44,826 seconds.
Enter the last three minutes FP2 MotoGP Japan 2024Bagnaia is still the rider with the fastest time. Pedro Acosta was second and Fabio Di Giannantonio third.
Towards the end, there was also a yellow flag due to an incident involving Johann Zarco. He slid into a roll on the gravel at Turn 6.
Francesco Bagnaia, Pedro Acosta and Maverick Vinales became the three fastest riders in the session held a few minutes before qualifying. Jorge Martin is in seventh position, Marc Marquez in eighth place.
