The director of the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV), María Antonia Tabares, together with the Secretary of Transit and mayor in charge, Laura Mayorga, led the launch of the “We move through life” strategy this October 2. The initiative seeks to improve road safety through talks and recommendations given by traffic agents and ANSV teams.
During the event, Traffic Police agents and ANSV personnel shared the strategy with road actors, offering guidance on the importance of complying with traffic regulations. In an interview with Marandua Noticias, Tabares explained the objectives of the campaign, its financing and the role that traffic agents play in its execution.
The director also addressed the upcoming prevention campaigns that will be carried out during the school break, aimed especially at young people and parents, in order to raise awareness about road safety. These campaigns seek to reduce accidents on the roads during this period.
The citizens who participated in the talks positively valued the information received, highlighting the importance of following the provisions of the National Traffic Code. Didier Aguirre, traffic officer, offered key recommendations for motorcyclists and drivers of motor vehicles, underscoring the need for responsible driving.
