Faced with the press this Friday, October 4, 2024, the Minister of Labor and the Civil Service, Faya François Bourouno, provided extensive information relating to the process of processing the file of the 10 thousand admitted to the recent recruitment competition for the function Guinean public.
It was in the presence of several of his technical executives including the chief of staff Ms. Ramatoulaye Camara and the principal advisor of the department.
At the start, the minister made a point of specifying: “I wanted to make this communication to inform those admitted to the recruitment competition for 10,000 civil service agents on the level of processing of their recruitment file and support. As such, I would like to inform those admitted to the competition that the process of processing their entry is underway. It is not a simple process, but arrangements are being made at the department level to expedite their engagement process as new trainee civil servants, because that is what the law says…”
Continuing, he will indicate that several innovations including the passage of those admitted to military barracks for a series of training have been made by the government.
“The major innovation is that all those admitted will follow an induction program. This induction program was developed jointly with the Ministry of National Defense. And this induction program will allow all those admitted to spend a stay in certain military barracks which have been identified to follow the courses which will allow them to have the appropriate civic skills to loyally serve our public administration.
In the coming days, affirms the minister, “we will communicate on the planning relating to the implementation of this induction program. At the same time, there are those admitted who have missing information in their received files. There is also work in progress at the technical services level to allow those admitted to complete their information. You know that the law requires certain records to be civil servants. Among these files, there is the medical attitude certificate. When the application files were submitted, this file did not appear in the files provided by the candidates. Today, it is important for us before signing the commitment order that each candidate can provide this file. There are also other files such as the criminal record which must be provided by all those admitted before their final commitment. As such, a press release will be issued in the coming hours to inform candidates about the opening schedule for receiving these additional files.”
Further, he will say that as part of the rational management of the workforce of State agents, it has been formally instructed that any agent who must be hired must do their biometrics in the FUGAS file.
To this end, he specifies, a press release will also be issued in the coming hours to inform all those admitted of the biometric enrollment schedule for new civil servants. And this biometrics will take place at the central site in Conakry.
