Television series have become, in recent years, one of the most consumed television formats among the audience, especially among the youngest, going so far as to describe this moment in which they find themselves as the golden age. Within this study, the need to analyze both the characters and the educational messages transmitted in the Elite television series arises. To carry out this research, a qualitative methodology has been chosen through a content analysis of the themes shown in the series, as well as a study of the characters that appear in it. Among the main results obtained is how aspects related to the proper use of social networks, cyberbullying, homosexual relationships or diseases such as cancer or HIV are treated. On the other hand, a great diversity of nationalities, as well as sexual orientation, is shown through the characters. The main conclusions are that television series for teenagers tend to capture the attention of the youth audience through themes and characters that are close to them and with whom they can identify.

To carry out this research, a qualitative methodology has been chosen through a content analysis of the themes that are shown in the series, as well as a study of the characters that appear in it. Among the main results obtained, it is observed how aspects related to the proper use of social networks, cyberbullying, homosexual relationships, or diseases such as cancer or HIV are treated.
