Week against Money Worries October 14 to 18

But, one day is not enough to draw attention to the major consequences of poverty and financial worries. That is why the municipality of Venlo is organizing the Week against Money Worries from October 14 to 18.

Living with money worries is extremely stressful and bad for your health. It is becoming increasingly difficult for people with financial worries to continue participating. It is also much more common than we sometimes know. Because of shame, no one talks about it. While money worries are often not the result of bad choices, but a combination of circumstances. A divorce, death, becoming unemployed or having an accident are examples of events that often have major financial consequences. Attention and understanding for this problem is therefore very important.
