Traffic measures during Furieade from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 October 2024

Closures and parking bans

Traffic measures apply to the following roads and streets:

• Industrieweg: The parking lot between the Van Ruyven snack bar and the Koepaardburg is closed to all traffic from Tuesday, October 1, 7 a.m. to Monday, October 7, 8 p.m.
• Govert van Wijnkade, Marnixkade, Haringkade, Ankerstraat, Hellingkade and Breugomslop (the entire Schanseiland): Friday, October 4, 2:00 PM to Saturday, October 5, 2:00 AM and Sunday, October 6, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Zuiddijk, Haven, Havenstraat and Havenplein: Friday, October 4, 6:00 PM to Saturday, October 5, 8:00 PM. On the Zuiddijk this only concerns the part between Fenacoliuslaan and Haven.
• Goudsteen, Veerstraat on both sides, Noordvliet on both sides, Dr. Kuyperkade and Zuidvliet. Friday, October 4, 6:00 PM to Saturday, October 5, 8:00 PM.
• Prinsekade and Rusthuisstraat: On Thursday, October 3, Prinsekade and Rusthuisstraat will be closed to all traffic from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This is in connection with the arrival of the sailing Westlanders and yachts.
• Petrus Kockstraat: Due to the construction of the fair, the parking lot on Petrus Kockstraat is closed to all traffic from Thursday, October 3, 7 a.m. to Monday, October 7, 10 a.m.
• Kerkplein and Hellingkade: A parking ban applies to the parking spaces on Kerkplein and Hellingkade from Thursday, October 3, 7 a.m. to Monday, October 7, 11 p.m.

Please note: if you do park where a parking ban applies, you risk having your car or vehicle towed away or a fine. The costs for towing are borne by the owner of the vehicle. This also applies to the parking spaces. You are requested to park your car outside the area during the indicated times.

Parking is available

There is a parking lot on the Industrieweg near the course and you can park around the Koningshoek Shopping Center. A free shuttle bus runs back and forth from the Aldi parking lot until 5 p.m. And keep in mind that in a number of places the maximum permitted speed has been reduced to 30 km.

• Parking lot along the Scheur
• Prinses Beatrixlaan and Stationsweg
• Maassluis West station
• Car park at the ferry
• Marelplein parking lot
