Boy’s Day, celebrated on September 30, is a holiday that has gained great popularity in Poland, especially among children, teenagers and young adults. Although it is not a day celebrated as grandly as, for example, Women’s Day, it is an excellent opportunity to express sympathy to boys of all ages.
Boy’s Day is celebrated mainly in Poland, but similar holidays also occur in other countries. For example, in India, International Men’s Day falls on November 19. However, September 30 in our country is a day when especially boys and young men are in the spotlight.
Typically, this holiday focuses on younger people – primary and secondary school students. Classes organize games, competitions and give symbolic gifts. It is also an opportunity for men of all ages to feel appreciated and important.
Boy’s Day is a perfect time to give someone a small gift – regardless of whether it is a loved one, a friend or a colleague from work. Such a gesture shows that we remember this person, express positive feelings towards him and build relationships.
