There is no longer an upper age limit for blood donations in the Soest district
Anyone who feels fit can donate blood. The DRK Blood Donation Service West points this out and would like to remind you that there is no longer an upper age limit for donating blood, because many people think they are too old to donate blood. With the Changes to the transfusion law last November the upper age limit has been completely eliminated. This means significantly more people can donate blood. After all, the DRK is urgently dependent on donations. The blood donation service repeatedly tries to provide small incentives for blood donation and plans campaigns related to blood donation.
DRK is giving away vouchers for blood donations in Wickede
The German Red Cross urgently needs more blood donations. That’s why the West Blood Donation Service always tries to combine blood donation with special campaigns in order to reach more people. In Wickede, for example, this should now work with vouchers. Anyone who comes to donate blood at the Wickede secondary school on Wednesday (October 2nd) or next Monday (October 7th) can get a voucher for a meal at a local restaurantfor example for the Akropolis Grill or the Pizzeria Rustica. The DRK asks that you make an appointment to donate blood online in advance. That’s about it DRK homepage. You can also find other blood donation dates here.
