The first game in the higher age group, against SG Schwarzbachtal,
was a first, successful assessment of the situation for the players of SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach. The boys took the lead 1:3 and 3:5 to 4:7 after a quarter of an hour. After that, the hosts got better at defending, which is why they turned the score around to 10:8 by the break.

Things didn’t go well for SGH Waldbrunn-Eberbach in the second half. The defense was just as good as in the first half, but the balls weren’t put into the goal at the front. In addition, technical errors increased. So the guests passed over
