Sneakers older than six! [PODSUMOWANIE MECZÓW AKADEMII]

The sixth victory in a row for the senior players, a home victory for the U-16s and, unfortunately, poorer performances by the juniors – as usual, we have collected all the most important events of the past weekend for you!

We started the exceptionally played Saturday in Rączna with the match of Cracovia II, which was looking for a quick return to the winning path after the last defeat against Glinik Gorlice. This was achieved quite successfully in the match against Podhalanin Biecz, because Pasy won 3:1, and Mirosław Tabor scored his 11th goal of the season. Next weekend, coach Krzysztof Mordak’s team will go to Słopnice to play against Sokół.

However, inexplicable things happened during the match of the U-19 team. Cracovia was not only leading after 5 minutes, but also had an advantage, because in such a short time a player of Saturday’s rivals, Śląsk Wrocław, received two yellow cards. So it seemed that the match was going perfectly, but it turned out to be completely different, because from then on, the guests were definitely the better team, as they exchanged times with Pasy and were more effective at it, winning 4:3.

CLJ U-19 | 8th round

Cracovia 3:4 Śląsk Wrocław

goals for Pasy: Zgłobik, Duck, Rabbit

The younger players, who were looking for a breakthrough in Elbląg, in a match against the league’s red beacon, Olimpia Elbląg, did not have a successful weekend either. However, the hosts were able to surprise our team, they were leading 2-0 by the break. After the change of sides, our team gave chase and equalized the score 2:2, but ultimately lost 2:3. Now the situation is reversed, because next Saturday the table leader, Legia Warszawa, will come to Rączna.

The senior team won their sixth victory in a row on Saturday, although it was probably the most difficult three points this season. The first half did not promise any difficulties, because Pasy was probably leading 2-0, but after the change of sides, Górnik Łęczna started to make up for the losses very ambitiously and was able to push our team so far that he succeeded. However, the last word belonged to coach Konrad Stańczyk’s team, who won the match for their side after a successful penalty kick taken in the last minute of added time by captain Mateusz Pulchny!
