On September 29, the final of the Eurovision Song Contest “Chance for Success” took place, during which it was decided who would represent Poland at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid. Everything is clear now.

“A chance for success. Junior Eurovision 2024 has been selected five candidates who advanced to the grand finale of the program. For victory and at the same time the opportunity to represent Poland at this year’s Eurovision for children in Madrid fought:

The competition final was divided into two stages. In the first one, the audience’s text messages and points from the jurors were decisive. The jury included: Grzegorz Urban – music director of “Szansa na success”, vocalist Anna Józefina Lubieniecka and chairman Agnieszka Żmijewska, director of this year’s performance. The participants were supported by Krystian Ochman and Michał Wiśniewski.
The top two who performed the same advanced to the second round a song composed especially for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest – “All Together”. Ola and Dominik made it to the finals. At this stage, only the viewers had a say. Their text messages Dominik Arim was the winner! He will play in the red and white colors in Madrid.
Junior Eurovision 2024. Who is Dominik Arim?
Dominik Arim, this year’s Polish representative in the Junior Eurovision Song Contestis a musical 11-year-old who lives in Pomerania, where he learns to play the trumpet at the Witold Lutosławski Music School in Starogard Gdański. He also started learning to play the piano, but singing is his greatest passion. He participated in the seventh edition of “The Voice Kids”where he reached the semi-finals. Dominik also likes dancing – he develops his talents in the band “Szalone Małolaty”. He spends his time outside school actively, preferably on the slides in the aqua park, playing football and riding a bike. However, his favorite sport is karate, which he trained for 5 years – he has an orange belt. When the weather is not favorable for going outside, he reads books or plays games. In his free time, he also likes helping his parents in the garden and playing with his sister Julia and his dog Butek.
The 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on November 16, 2024 at the Caja Mágica hall in Madrid. Representatives of seventeen countries will take part in the competition. Last year, the winner was Zoé Clauzure, representing France with the song “Cœur”. Maja Krzyżewska, performing in the red and white colors, took sixth place with the song “I Just Need a Friend”. Poland has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest twice so far – in 2018 thanks to Roxie Węgiel and “Anyone I Want to Be” and in 2019 thanks to Viki Gabor and “Superhero”.
