This afternoon-night, the president advisor of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Guadalupe Taddei and the 10 electoral advisors held the first meeting with the president of the Political Coordination Board of the Senate of the Republic, Adán Augusto López Hernández, with the objective to establish the first steps for the implementation of the Reform of the Judicial Branch.
This institutional collaboration is due to the provisions of the Decree that reforms, adds and repeals various provisions of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, regarding the Reform of the Judicial Branch.
After last Monday the INE gave the flag to the electoral process of judges, this Thursday they held this first meeting with the senator from Morena, to be able to outline the operating model for these elections that have no precedent and therefore are not counted with clear elements for your organization.
The Senate of the Republic will be the one who must issue the call for said elective process no later than October 16 and therefore, the councilors have requested to have these meetings to clear up doubts, in order to develop a work plan and schedule of activities.
The INE reported that in the coming days permanent work tables will be installed in which there will be representation from the INE and the Senate, where it is expected to be able to add other actors to collaborate with the necessary work.
