Healthy Space for children at CAPS San Francisco

The workshop is held at the San Francisco Primary Health Care Center (CAPS) to promote healthy eating habits in children.

Aimed at children between 6 and 8 years old, this space seeks to promote health and well-being among the little ones, through playful dynamics. The proposal seeks to motivate and accompany positive changes in your eating habits as an integral part of your nutritional treatment.

Children who participate learn about the importance of a balanced diet. Through games, talks and creative activities, they are taught to make healthy choices. As part of the activities, kids can touch, smell and taste different fresh fruits and vegetables. This sensory experience helps them become familiar with natural foods and understand their benefits. Additionally, educational cards and visual materials are used to highlight food groups, appropriate portions, and essential nutrients.

This initiative, coordinated by CAPS health professionals, is part of the proposal to guarantee that the little ones grow up with healthy habits ingrained from an early age.
