‘Sons de Ciutat’ brings live music to the Eixample

On Saturdays in October and November, at 12 noon, live music returns in the streets and squares of commercial hubs and markets of Barcelona. ‘Sons de Ciutat’ presents the autumn edition, with nearly 200 performances spread across the ten districts of the city. There will be four concerts in Eixample. Schedule them!

Sounds of the City has the objective of promoting the economic and commercial revitalization through Barcelona’s rich musical culture. The program has the complicity of various festivals, professional associations, higher music training centers and other musical agents in the city and It is financed by the tourist tax.

City Sounds (autumn 2024) in the Eixample:

  • Opera songs
    05/10 – Pl. Conxa Pérez
    Opera music through a clarinet (Sergio Ferrer), a cello (Laura Sanz) and a mezzo-soprano (Helena Ressurecjcao)
  • Breeze Nunjo
    10/26 – Ninot Market
    Catalan-Cameroonian singer-songwriter, performer, lyricist and producer who, with her band, performs sounds that gravitate between neo soul, jazz and R&B.
  • Duo Tournesol
    09/11 – Pº. Saint John with Rosselló
    A violin, piano and two singers. With this original formation, Bárbara Wincor and María Pascual delve into close and entertaining repertoires.
  • Eva Fort
    23/11 – C. Council of Cent con c. Girona
    Barcelona singer-songwriter with influences of English folk, indie and pop. Personal and honest lyrics and current themes.
