The MP of New Democracy launched an attack on the opposition parties from the floor of the Parliament. Christos Boukoros who is among the 11 blue MPs who signed a question to the finance minister about the red loans.
“I have the impression that the representatives of the parties that ruled the country, read the question as it suits them and interpret it with political targeting”, he commented. “Those who talk about groups and cracks are out of touch,” he said.
However, he pointed out meaningfully that “the parliamentarians have a duty to highlight the problems and the ministers to solve them. On this line is the ND and leave aside the political witticisms”.
As he explained, in his reply, the Minister of Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, said that improvements are being made and will be made in the extrajudicial mechanism. At the same time, leaving out Mario Salma who was kicked out of KO a few days ago, he said that “the 10 MPs are united and coordinated”.
The floor was immediately taken by the parliamentary representative of New Democracy, Thanos Pleuris, saying that ND MPs are not only there to vote on a bill, but to support the government’s work and ask for improvements.
In a particularly strict tone, he said addressing the opposition seats: “Some whose party starts from the wombs of the left, the MPs have learned to vote, and when the leaders did not like the results, the votes were held again. This is your matrix, that’s why it’s hard for you to understand that the liberal faction apparently has MPs free to make political judgments.”
