“Stigma and discrimination remain very high due to concerns about transmission, ignorance of transmission and lack of empathy. In fact, ADHA children are usually victims who were already born with the virus because it was transmitted by their mother at birth. Then there are also victims of sexual harassment.”
If pregnant women are screened, they will be treated immediately and their children can be protected from this virus.
Therefore YP ADHA still calls for screening of pregnant women so that ADHA does not continue to increase. The numbers are increasing at the moment.
