Miloš Zeman started his birthday with lunch in the hotel lounge. Guests from Slovakia, led by Prime Minister Robert Fic, came to lunch. Miloš Zeman welcomed him with the words: “Dear friend, how I was looking forward to seeing you.”

Hotel Štekl has five suites, thirteen royal and twenty-six castle rooms furnished in the same style as the interior of Hluboká Castle. The atmosphere of the rooms is also completed by replicas of paintings by Dutch masters. Not one of the 44 rooms is the same.
