What did Adonis Georgiadis want from the statement to change the electoral law? The Minister of Health lit fires that government representative Pavlos Marinakis was quick to put out from New York.
As BIMAtodotis writes, the government still wonders how Adonis Georgiadis came up with the idea that the electoral law should be changed, starting now, without even having a discussion. However, there was an answer which can be interpreted as an “empty” to the Minister of Health given by the government representative Pavlos Marinakis.
Maximos’ message was clear as Mr. Marinakis, when asked about the Minister of Health’s statements regarding a possible change in the electoral law – so as not to Italianize the Greek political scene – said unequivocally that there is no such discussion.
He emphasized that Mr. Georgiadis expressed his firm position and did not make a proposal. The vice-president of the ruling party and Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis came forward asking for an immediate change of the electoral law, indirectly accepting the popular delegitimization that the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is undergoing.
