The 11th Panhellenic School Sports Day 2024 is celebrated today, Friday, September 27, 2024, and school units are invited to implement actions and events, with the aim of highlighting the benefits and importance of physical activity.
The Region of Attica, to commemorate the day, made a video with the 10 Paris Olympians who returned to their country with a medal.
“I want to encourage all children to take up sports as sports is more than beauty, it is magic, it is happiness,” said Lefteris Petrounias, who won a bronze medal in the hoops in Paris, among others.
“What you do, the sport, you have to have fun doing it, it shouldn’t feel like you’re making sacrifices, there shouldn’t be any stress,” said Miltos Tedoglou.
