/ world today news/ Thousands of socialists will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the organized socialist movement of Buzludzha.
The beginning of the traditional meeting of the left in the “Historical meadow” area under Mount Buzludzha is precisely at 10:30 a.m. on July 30 (Saturday) and the start will be given by one of the brilliant Bulgarian voices, that of Valya Balkanska, and bagpipes.
Before the great meeting in the Balkans, the socialists organize a series of events. Already on Friday, July 29, a national meeting of the BSP will be held in Gabrovo under the title “On the tasks of the BSP in the 2016 Presidential Elections”. The following will take part in it: the leader of the left Kornelia Ninova, members of the National Council of the party, people’s representatives from BSP LEFT BULGARIA, MEPs from BSP/PES, municipal, district, city and district chairmen of BSP, mayors. Later, Ninova, members and sympathizers of the BSP will lay flowers at the “Buzludzhan Congress” memorial plaque, the Vasil Aprilov Memorial, the Ossuary Memorial at “Vazrazhdane” Square. And then the chairman of the BSP will start a cycling race for the “Buzludzha 2016” Cup. On top of Shipka, the awarding of the winners of the competition will be held, where wreaths will be presented in front of the Shipka-monument temple.
On Saturday, already at 7.15 in the morning, a tourist hike will start from the parking lot under Mount Shipka to the “Historical meadow” on Mount Buzludzha. At 10:30 a.m., the National Assembly of the Left “Buzludzha 2016” will be opened on the Historical Meadow. under the title “For the Bulgaria we love” with the laying of wreaths and flowers on the bas-relief “Founders of the Socialist Movement”, on the Monument to Hadji Dimitar and on the Monument to the Partisans of the Gabrovo-Sevlievo Detachment.
The leader of the BSP will start the national political rally, and in the second part of the artistic program, the following will take part: Georgi Hristov, Mihaela Marinova, Yordan Zdravkov, “Belcanto” group, “Vivo Montana” group and others.
