Reading the verdict, the Court of São João Novo in Porto convicted Melchior Freitas, the main defendant in the case, of 20 crimes related to economic participation in companies, six crimes of forgery of documents, obtaining an undue advantage and two felonies. From embezzlement.

SC Braga has already defended Antonio Salvador and reiterated the innocence of its president.

According to reports, the president of the TPNP from 2009 to January 2019 is the main defendant in the case based on alleged crimes committed by this body, namely in public vacancies, football-related and aid/labor costs.
