The police were on a large scale operation at Munich Pasing train station on Friday evening. This is what is known about it so far.
On Friday evening, a 29-year-old man is said to have handled a firearm in the main hall of Pasing train station and held it in front of several people’s faces. The Munich Federal Police announced this on Saturday. A 50-year-old witness is said to have observed the situation from a few meters away and immediately informed the police around 8 p.m.
Shortly afterwards, a patrol at the train station was able to catch the suspect. When the man was searched, an airsoft gun was found in his waistband that did not have the required markings. This in turn constitutes a violation of the weapons law. There are said to have been several airsoft bullets in the weapon’s magazine.
The 29-year-old suspect had no fixed address and was drunk with a alcohol content of 0.8 per mille. After the police measures were completed, he was released. The federal police are now investigating the man for threats and as part of a fine procedure for an alleged violation of the weapons law. Those affected by the threat should contact the federal police on 089/5155500.
