tasted blood is the 83rd episode of the television film series Wilsberg. The episode has been available in the ZDFmediathek since September 28, 2024 and is scheduled to be broadcast for the first time on ZDF’s Saturday evening program on October 5, 2024.
The young saleswoman Aischa Naciri is stabbed to death at the Münster market, whereupon Overbeck and Drechshage begin the investigation. In addition, the self-proclaimed profiling expert Dr. Elmar Lenz up. Meanwhile, Anna Springer is promoting her first true crime book with a reading, in which an old case has similarities to the current one. At that time, René Rösch murdered his wife; he had just been released after 15 years in prison and was therefore highly suspected.
Anna is put under pressure by her editor Lucia Hillbeck because she is contractually demanding a second book. There are increasing indications that Anna is being threatened, so Wilsberg investigates this and the connections to the case at the time. Rösch or the daughter of the person killed could be involved. Rösch actually threatens Anna in her apartment and is briefly arrested. Anna then ends her writing break and returns to the police service.
Investigations are now taking place into Aischa’s life because the young woman had contacted Rösch because of her master’s thesis on the subject of crime and modern media. A fellow student who is in love with Aischa also comes into focus. With his help, Wilsberg manages to obtain the murdered woman’s master’s thesis. As part of the work, she also contacted Elmar Lenz, who, as Ekki was able to find out, had some inconsistencies in his career.
Anna visits Lenz and discovers a forged FBI certificate. She confronts him and accuses him of killing Aisha because she discovered the imposture and wanted to make it public. Lenz kidnaps Anna and wants to murder her in the underground car park of the headquarters in order to frame Rösch. Wilsberg sees through this game so that the police can arrest him at the last second.
The filming took place between March 20, 2023 and May 25, 2023 in North Rhine-Westphalia.[1]
