Disturbing news arrived from Switzerland. 18-year-old Muriel Furrer is in a critical condition after falling on the World Championships route.
According to the International Cycling Union, there was a very serious fall during the junior race. Swiss Muriel Furrer suffered a head injury and was immediately transported to hospital by helicopter.
