Francesco Bagnaia cut behind Jorge Martin in the 2024 MotoGP standings after winning the Sprint Race MotoGP Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix 2024Saturday (28/9).
Victory in the Mandalika MotoGP 2024 Sprint Race, as well as Martin failing to score after finishing 10th, meant that Bagnaia managed to cut his deficit to just 12 points.
Bagnaia currently has 329 points, while Martin is in first place with 341 points. Enea Bastianini, who finished second in the 2024 Mandalika MotoGP Sprint Race, is third in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 291 points.

Bastianini is three points ahead of Marc Marquez who is in fourth place with 288 points. Marquez excelled in the Mandalika MotoGP 2024 Sprint Race Starting from 12th position, The Baby Alien managed to finish in third position.
Brad Binder remains in fifth position in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 165 points, followed by Pedro Acosta. The rookie racer who strengthens GasGas collected 161 points, nine points ahead of Maverick Vinales.
Aleix Espargaro, who will retire after MotoGP 2024, is in eighth position with 127 points. F. Di Giannantonio (122 points) is in ninth position and Alex Marquez (121 points) is in tenth position, completing the top ten in the MotoGP 2024 standings.
