The marginal election of Nikos Pappas to the presidency of KO resulted in the position of Finance department head being “orphaned”, with the transitional leader of the official opposition co-deciding on Tuesday together with the other members of the KO presidium on the new composition of SYRIZA department heads .
After the announcement of four opposition initiatives that focus on the economy, the official opposition is also proceeding with a “facelift” at the level of persons regarding the sectors.
According to the information of documentonews.gr, the position of Nikos Pappas in the Finance sector is taken by Haris Mamoulakis, while Giorgos Karameros is transferred to the Infrastructure and Transport sector and Pavlos Polakis returns to the Transparency sector.
At the same time, Popi Tsapanidou will be the head of Digital Policy, while Nina Kasimati takes over as Head of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the Hellenic diaspora. Also, Theofilos Xanthopoulos undertakes if. Head of Interior, while Rallia Christidou takes over as Head of Shipping.
In relation to the parliamentary representatives, Giorgos Gavrilos, Nina Kassimati and Yiannis Sarakiotis remain, with Christos Giannoulis should take over as a parliamentary representative together with Vassilis Kokkalis who held the specific post.
