PHOTO SERIES: Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 career

Visa RB announced on Thursday that Daniel Ricciardo will be replaced immediately by reserve driver Liam Lawson. After a questionable season, Ricciardo says goodbye to his team and probably Formula 1. The cheerful Australian has made his mark on motorsport in more than 13 years. 285 starts, 8 wins, 32 podiums and a lot of stuff shoey’s later we look back on the career of the honey badger.

Debut with HRT

Five seasons with Red Bull

From Renault to McLaren

In 2019, to everyone’s surprise, Daniel Ricciardo opted for a two-year deal with Renault. At the French racing stable he first comes wide Nico Hülkenberg and later next to it Esteban Ocon justifiably. Second chance

After a few months of extra work as a reserve driver for Red Bull, Daniel Ricciardo will be back on the grid in 2023. He may replace a struggling Nyck de Vries at AlphaTauri.
