/ world today news/ The China Securities Regulatory Commission approved the establishment of a futures company of “Morgan Stanley” (Morgan Stanley) in Beijing. The decision comes amid the country’s efforts to widen the opening of its futures market.
Beijing will support eligible foreign institutions to invest in domestic futures companies and continue to improve its futures market to serve the high-quality development of its real economy, the commission said in a statement on the occasion.
China’s futures market maintained normal growth in 2022, with domestic commodity futures and options trading volume accounting for 72.3 percent of the global total, the China Futures Association said.
