Kania Gostyń and Dąbroczanka Pępowo one step away from the final

SportAs expected, Kania Gostyń and Dąbroczanka Pępowo advanced to the semi-finals of the Polish Cup in the Leszno zone. In the next round of the cup competition, the teams of Grzegorz Wosiak and Tomasz Leciejewski will also be favorites.

On Wednesday the quarter-finals of the Polish Cup for the Leszno zone were played. At this stage of the competition, the Gostyń district had three representatives.

In Pudliszki, there was a derby. Zjednoczeni hosted Dąbroczanka Pępowo. The guests were the favorites and they did not disappoint. Tomasz Leciejewski’s team won confidently 5:1, although it must be said that the local players also had good moments in this match.

Kania Gostyń fought for promotion with the Polonia Leszno reserves. Grzegorz Wosiak’s team was also the favorite. The fifth-league player gave his lower-ranked opponent no chance and won by a large margin.

The semi-final pairs are already known. Kania Gostyń will play against Rawia Rawicz, which eliminated Pinsel-Peter Krobianka Krobia in the 1/8 finals, and on Wednesday defeated Orkan Chorzemin. Dąbroczanka’s opponent in the fight for the final will be Ruch Bojanowo.
