What is going well and what is going badly in Rosenheim? There will be a total of five town hall meetings in October. Mayor Andreas März will present the current situation in the city in direct exchange with citizens, address district-specific topics and answer questions from citizens.
The first public meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. for the south-east area in the Happinger Hof. Among other things, the future of the Seehotel Hubertus and the new fire station will be discussed. The traffic concept for Happing will also be explained.
In addition, fundamental city topics are discussed such as the future of urban public transport, the economic situation or infrastructure measures in the coming year.
“This year, too, we are holding the town hall meetings in pubs. Here, the exchange and dialogue with citizens is much more direct, personal and binding than in an anonymous meeting in a large hall. It is particularly important for me to point out that the right to speak, submit motions and vote applies to young people aged 14 and over. Their voices must also be heard and I am looking forward to the evenings,” said Mayor Andreas März.
The south-east area includes Aisinger Landstraße, Happing, Hl. Blut, Kaltmühl, Kaltwies and Kastenau. The citizens’ meeting for the north will take place on October 8th, for the center on October 9th, for the south on October 16th and for the center-south-west area on October 24th.
Citizens can register in advance of the respective citizens’ meeting from 6 p.m. Information on district-related topics will be provided on display boards. Expert employees from the respective departments will be on site for advice and discussion.
Young people aged 14 and over also have the right to submit proposals, speak and vote. Clubs, associations, etc. do not have this very personal right.
