This Friday, September 20, the blood donation association of the villages of Crissey, Virey, Lessard and Sassenay organized a collection in the Marcel Pagnol village hall in Virey-le-Grand.
And after intensive prospecting work, the entire team of volunteers of the association is more than satisfied with the result since 67 people showed up this Friday to give blood.
And among them, 6 new donors!
Like Alexandra, who celebrated her 18th birthday on September 3:
« I was looking forward to being an adult so I could finally donate blood. ” she said.
« Saving lives is really part of my future ambitions, so it was only natural that I came today to give blood in Virey-le-Grand. ” she continued.
This high school student from Chalon in Saint-Charles was accompanied by her mother and a friend, regulars at the club.
Very happy with how her first donation went, Alexandra will definitely come back.
