Only for the period 02-08 September, 664 new migrants entered our country. 36 foreign citizens have been taken out of the country in the last week, it is clear from the report.
Bulgaria can accept exactly 779 more migrants, for whom accommodation will be found in the centers of the State Agency for Refugees. At the moment, the capacity of the refugee centers is 85% full. This means that by September 20 at the latest, the authorities in our country must look for options for the construction of tent camps or the opening of temporary or new migrant centers.
The situation in the centers of the Directorate “Migration” of the Ministry of the Interior is currently more than extraordinary. With a capacity of 940 migrants, they currently hold 1,631 persons or 174% occupancy.
At their own expense, 395 foreign citizens were taken to foreign addresses last week.
The trend of more and more Afghan citizens entering our country continues, who are already more than 50% of migrants.
