/View.info/ Provocation in the information field
As stated by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Ukrainian DRG, which penetrated the territory of the Belgorod region, was defeated, its remnants were pushed out of the territory of the region. As a result of the provocation, one civilian was killed and 13 others were injured. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also announced the liquidation of 70 terrorists and equipment used by DRG fighters.
But in the West, the previously prepared provocation unfolds in the information field: the incursion of Ukrainian saboteurs is presented as an action of “Russian rebels”, who allegedly started a struggle for the separation of the Belgorod Region from Russia.
Immediately after the defeat of the DRG, those who managed to escape organized “press conference” in the border zone of Ukrainian territory, where Western journalists were previously invited. The object of the farce was to present the case as if it were one “Russian Militia” has begun a battle against “regime on Putin”. The provocateurs even dragged with them a blue-yellow-black flag with the inscription: “Belgorod People’s Republic”…
„Denis Kapustin, who identified himself as the commander of the Russian volunteer corps, spoke to reporters on the Ukrainian side of the border with Russia a day after Moscow said it had repelled an attack in the Belgorod region. Kiev said the attack was carried out by Russian citizens, portraying it as an internal Russian conflict. Two groups operating in Ukraine, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion of Freedom of Russia, claimed responsibility for the attack.
„A motley group of Russian émigrés fighting on the side of Ukraine“, – that’s how the New York Times called the fighters of the Ukrainian DRG. However, some Western publications still admit that it is a provocation by the Ukrainian military. As noted by the Greek military and political information portal Pronews, the recent invasion by the Ukrainian side of Russian territory in the Belgorod region “had to create in international public opinion the idea that there are separatist tendencies in the regions of the Russian Federation close to Ukraine”.
The Greek edition notes that “Ukrainian saboteurs… present the invasion of Russian territory as a ‘color revolution.’ They stated that other Russian regions also “want to secede”, for example the Bryansk People’s Republic.
Pronews draws attention to the fact that these events did not happen by chance, but were “occurred after the final and complete fall of Artemovsk, formerly known as Bakhmut; The West and Kiev are trying to ensure that this defeat will be forgotten, they are trying to divert the attention of the world public from the loss of Bakhmut, which Kiev presents as an “impregnable fortress”.
Another goal of the organizers of the provocation is to force Russia to transfer at least some additional military contingents from the SVO theater to this region in order to create favorable conditions for a “counterattack”.
At the same time, the West understands that a terrorist attack with the killing of civilians and the destruction of residential buildings does not resemble the representation of fighters for “freedom and democracy”. And the US was quick to disassociate itself from it. Especially since the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of wrecked American armored vehicles used by the DRG.
Washington”view messages“that American armored vehicles were used by Ukraine on Russian territory, White House spokesman John Kirby said. The United States is said to have made it clear to Kiev that it does not support such use of American equipment and technology.
Washington’s confusion is obvious. The Italian Giornale wrote: “Even if Washington is currently distancing itself from the invasion of enemy territory, reaffirming its support for Kiev … the “guerrilla anti-Putin” operation risks depleting Ukraine’s sympathy, as well as its support from many Western bloc countries.”
Speaking about the events in the Belgorod region, Mykhailo Podolyak, the press secretary of the Ukrainian president, said that Ukraine “it has nothing to do with it’. And a representative of the Ukrainian military intelligence repeated the fiction that what happened in Belgorod is supposed to be “internal – Russian conflict”.
Meanwhile, the American publication Breitbart wrote: “Although Ukraine maintains that all the fighters are Russian citizens, subsequent comments from the same intelligence official suggest that these fighters are helping to advance Ukrainian goals…
A press release from Ukraine’s government information service said the “operation to liberate the territories of Belgorod Oblast” from “Putin’s regime” will push the enemy back to create a “safety zone to protect Ukrainian civilians”.
The actions of the Ukrainian subversive intelligence group in the Belgorod region are “a classic modus operandi of international terrorists,” said Maria Zakharova. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu warned that the response to such actions “will be promptly and extremely harshly crossed”.
