Viral video of teacher and student in Gorontalo, victim’s family reports to police

Police are investigating a serious video case allegedly involving teachers and students in the district Gorontalo. This case was investigated after the parents of the student reported the teacher in the viral video.

“We have received the report from the family of the victim’s uncle,” Gorontalo Deputy Police Commissioner Ryan Hutagalung told detikcomreported detikSulsel Wednesday (25/9/2024).

Ryan said the teacher was reported for suspected sexual abuse. However, Ryan did not elaborate further on this issue.

“Right now we are focusing on investigating witnesses and perpetrators, tomorrow we will investigate them,” he said.

As reported earlier, the interesting video was allegedly played by teachers and students in a boarding house. In the video that is circulating, the teacher is wearing a black jacket, hat and trousers. Meanwhile the female students wore white headscarves and school uniforms.

“Yes, while we are investigating,” said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit for Pohuwato Police, Inspector Faisal Ariyoga when it was confirmed, Monday (23/9).
