Coalition We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria registered with the District Election Commission in Burgas its list of candidates for people’s representatives for the 2nd MIR-Burgas for the upcoming October parliamentary vote.
People’s representative Yavor Bozhankov is its leader. The next three are Dimitar Naydenov, Hristina Hadjiatanasova, Dimitar Valchev.
“The list is pretty good. The first 4 places are for lawyers and the rest cover absolutely the entire spectrum of the economic and social aspect of our society. We are fighting to build on the previous election. The leader of the list is Yavor Bozhankov, who is from the civil quota of We continue the change. This is because according to the grid, which has been applied since the previous parliamentary elections, the first place goes to our coalition partners from Continuing the change. They chose Yavor Bozhankov to replace Nikolay Denkov” commented Naydenov.
The People’s Representative said that “Yes, Bulgaria” had set themselves the goal of getting back at least 100,000 of the 300,000 lost voters.
“This is the reason to support our appearance again in a coalition. There was some talk about whether the three formations should appear separately, but in order to achieve a better result we are together again. The interesting thing is that these 300,000 voters did not vote for another party, but simply decided not to go to the polls. I hope this is temporary” he also shared.
According to him, democracy itself in the country is now in danger.
“As you can see the issue of buying votes and the raid that is now being conducted by Delyan Peevski and the people he represents, it looks frightening. We must stop this in order to save democracy and the parliamentary republic. Now there is a war in Europe, and our main state institutions are being tested and all kinds of influences are surfacing. We have to react as a society because there is no one to help us. In these elections, we must come out with a high turnout and defend democracy. We must not allow 20-30% of our fellow citizens to form a government that has passed under the shadow of a bought or controlled vote. I hope that the free citizens who want Bulgaria to develop as a democratic and free country will support us, because we are the guarantor of the preservation of the law and the country’s European path” Naydenov also stated.
