As part of the celebration of the International Ozone Layer Protection Day, ACTUAL TEXTILES organized an awareness event for its employees on September 16, 2024. This campaign aimed to train employees on sustainable practices and raise awareness of how the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
For this reason, the company makes sustainable and responsible decisions for activities that respect the ecosystem and reduce pollution. By producing electricity from solar energy and replacing each lamp with LED lamps, the company can reduce its dependence on fossil energy sources, the main cause of CO2 emissions. In addition to using green energy, ACTUAL TEXTILES organizes a vegetable garden planting to educate employees about other ways to protect the ozone layer and reduce pollution emissions. The company also dedicates part of its resources to green areas, promoting a work environment that respects the well-being of employees and fosters a culture of respect for the environment among its stakeholders.
At the time of this day, the management, who were represented by Mrs. Mezbine HIRIDJEE and Mr. Ilann HIRIDJEE, said with conviction: “The protection of the ozone layer is the responsibility of each of us, because we all live under the same sky. Let’s work together to fight pollution and build a sustainable future, respecting our ecosystem.”
