The Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Timtsos Moutsunski today in New York, under the pressure of the new leadership of the neighboring country and its refusal to comply with the agreements and the Prespa Agreement.
The meeting took place at the offices of the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral, cross-border and regional cooperation were discussed, while it was emphasized by the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs that the development of the European perspective of all the countries of the Western Balkans, including North Macedonia, depends on the fulfillment of the obligations arising from the Community acquis and international law, including adherence to international agreements such as the Prespa Agreement and the observance of good neighborly relations.
