A broken iPhone 16 can be saved locally with the help of another iPhone 16.
In the new iPhone 16 models and with Ios 18, Apple has introduced a new recovery mode to restore a broken mobile phone more easily. The new method means that users can restore the device’s firmware wirelessly using another iPhone with Ios18. When an iPhone 16 enters recovery mode, it can be placed near a compatible device to initiate a firmware reset, with the other device downloading and transferring the latest version of the operating system to the problematic device iPhone 16.
Currently, any device with the latest version of Ios 18 or Ipad OS 18 can be an assistant, but only the iPhone 16 series can restore its firmware with this method.
It is also not guaranteed that older models will be able to access it because the recovery process requires a special partition on the device, which is only available on the iPhone 16 series.
