Filing is not the same as registration; Shift Up filed a trademark application in the United States under the Madrid system in January 2023. Anyone who disagrees with the application could file an objection from February to March 2024. This was the right Mehaffey used when he filed a lawsuit on behalf of Stellarblade LLC in February 2024.
