W European Car Free Daywhich we celebrate in Sunday, September 22by giving up the car we can move around Gdańsk for free. Residents can use both free public transport and MEVO bikes. Owners of active bicycles will be entitled to free travel Gdańsk Resident Card.

The free one-day MEVO subscription was launched at midnight, from Saturday, September 21 to Sunday, September 22. Minute tariffs and the 48-hour subscription will not be available during this time. To use the free day, after entering the MEVO application, select the “subscription” field and the new “free day” tariff.

How to use MEVO for free?

After entering the MEVO application, you should select the “subscription” field and the new “free day” tariff. If the user has purchased a monthly or annual subscription, they also do not have to worry about anything, because they will not lose out on the free day in any way. Each user will simply automatically receive 1 additional day to their current subscription.

It is worth emphasizing that the remaining MEVO functions will remain unchanged. This means that there will still be a PLN 10 fee for leaving a bike outside the station, as well as daily limits for using MEVO bikes for subscription holders. You will still need to have PLN 10 in your electronic wallet in the MEVO application.

Free SKM

Szybka Kolej Miejska in Tricity is also taking part in the campaign. Every passenger who owns or co-owns a passenger car can travel free of charge on all PKP SKM and POLREGIO trains in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

When checking tickets, you must show your car registration certificate and your identity document (this can be your mDowód in the mObywatel application).
