This past Monday morning, traffic was seriously disrupted in Grenoble (Isère) between 5am and 8:15am on Boulevard Jean Pain. It was a gas leak that required the intervention of around thirty firefighters.

Damaged gas line
According to the firefighters, who started the intervention around 2 am, this gas leak was caused by an electrical cable that overheated and damaged a pipe. gas. It was decided not to evacuate homes in the same area, but safety checks were carried out to ensure no risks were taken.
Traffic was able to resume around 8 a.m., but it’s obviously complicated for a good part of the day. This incident affects two tram lines: line A and line C.
