Coalition “Movement for Rights and Freedoms – A New Beginning” registers its list of people’s representatives from MIR-Burgas. Vodach is one of the most successful and beloved mayors that the municipality of Rouen has had. Over the years, Ismail Osman has indisputably shown that to manage a municipality successfully you have to be among the people every day.
He, the regional head of the coalition Hristo Shirokov and some of the candidates submitted the registration documents to the RIC.
Shirokov told the media that the coalition registered a complete list of 28 names of individuals with proven professional and human qualities.
“Each of the candidates is a person who has worked on the ground to solve the most pressing problems. It will be like that in the future. We will work together with the people, for the people. After these elections, Bulgaria must have a stable and working government that will build its stability. The time for deadlock and chaos is over. We must unite to be strong, to be taken seriously by our European partners.”
He added that “DPS – New Beginning” is open to every single person, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, social status.
„DPS – It’s a new beginning for people!” – said Shirokov categorically, who is currently an independent municipal councilor in Pomorie.
Minutes before the registration in RIC, the leader of the list Ismail Osman commented to the media the expectations and attitudes of the formation for the upcoming elections.
“I am confident that the coalition “Movement for Rights and Freedoms – A New Beginning” will achieve its best results in these elections, because we had complete freedom, on our own, at the district level, to broadcast the people who will protect local interests. During the last 14 years as mayor of the municipality of Rouen, I have been face to face, always with the people. We have looked for solutions together – we have found them together. This will be the case in the future as well,” said the leader of the coalition.
In front of the Regional Administration building, Ismail Osman briefly presented the team he leads.
“Second on the list and side by side with me in the ambition for a meaningful new beginning is Kalin Stoyanov. You know him as the recent Minister of the Interior, a man who has done more for the system than long-time leaders of this post. He is familiar with the problems of rank-and-file police officers down to the smallest detail, and works actively to solve them. Kalin Stoyanov is a local man, he has proven that he can defend Burgas causes,” commented Ismail Osman.

- Ismail Osman – education: Bachelor’s degree in “Mathematics and Informatics” at “Bishop K. Preslavski” University of Shumen, Master’s degree in “Administration and Management”; Chairman of the Municipal Council – Rouen from 2023 – until now; Mayor of the Municipality of Rouen 2009 – 2023
- Kalin Stoyanov – education: graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and majored in “Law” at the Burgas Free University. Since 2003, he has been working in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, going through the entire hierarchical structure from a rank-and-file police officer to the Minister of the Ministry of the Interior.
- Husein Hafazov – native of Aytos, teacher, journalist, representative of the people.
- Mirem Dervish – financier, deputy mayor of the Municipality of Rouen in the period 2007-2023.
