The American technology and electronics giant Apple launched the public beta version of the artificial intelligence service Apple Intelligence by launching beta versions of the operating systems iOS 18.1, iPad OS 18.1 and Mac OS Sequoia 15.1. Last Thursday, subscribers to the Apple beta program in the United States were able to experience the next-generation artificial intelligence feature that Apple has been trying to provide in its operating systems since last June.
TechCrunch, a website specializing in technology topics, pointed out that the Apple Intelligence service is currently available in the United States and in English only. According to Apple, the new feature is only available experimentally for users of the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any new iPhone 16 model in the United States.
It should be noted that TechCrunch tested the developer’s beta version of the iOS 18.1 operating system by presenting the smartphone iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The artificial intelligence capabilities of the new operating system provide a number of common features, including cross-platform writing tools, automatic image cleaning, and the biggest change to the Siri voice assistant since was launched. The writing tools take advantage of the kinds of AI-genuine features familiar to anyone who works with the GBT chat platform or similar applications. In addition to verifying and summarizing the texts, Apple Intelligence rewrites the text in several ways, including professional, friendly or concise. Users can also benefit from the smart reply feature to emails, sorting them by importance, and summarizing them. Apple is expected to add more features to Apple Intelligence later this year.
