Julian Araujo starts in Liverpool thrashing
The Mexican defender was in the starting line-up when Bournemouth lost 3-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, where the Reds climbed to the top of the Premier League table at the start of the season.
Araujo, who is earning his place at his new club, played until the 70th minute and was unable to help control Liverpool’s attacking power, which relied on its South American stars to take the victory thanks to a double from Colombian Luis Díaz and another goal from Uruguayan Darwin Núñez.
The Mexican defender’s team suffered their second setback of the campaign, in which they have one win and two draws. They are currently in 13th place in the table with 5 points, one more than West Ham, also led by Mexican Edson Álvarez.
