Israel’s attacks against Hezbollah continue unabated. The Israeli military announced today new airstrikes against Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, the day after a deadly bombing against the Lebanese Islamist group in the capital Beirut.

The death toll from the Beirut attack is rising
At the same time, the tragic list of dead after the attack launched by Israel on Friday in Beirut keeps growing. At least 31 people died, including three children and seven women, the Lebanese health minister said.
For this reason, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme religious leader, said that Israel is committing “shameless crimes” against children, not armed men. In addition, Hezbollah announced today the death of its second official in the Israeli aerial bombardment.
The movement, which is close to Iran, said that Ahmed Mahmoud Wahhabi commanded an operational unit of the elite Radwan force of its military arm until the beginning of the year. This unit operates in support of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist movement at war with Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
