Ministry of Health promotes blood donation in Juigalpa
«Exactly today, the Ministry of Health and the Blood Bank are here in this voluntary campaign, this month…», said the director of the Minsa, Dr. Dilma Sirias Sirias. She also said: “Let us promote the importance of blood donation and helping others is in our hands. Each donation saves a life, and being able to help someone in need is serving our country, saving lives. Therefore, we call on the population to donate blood. Blood is necessary, especially for traumatized patients. With love and solidarity, we make the call.”
«The most we can collect today is very important. That’s why we’ll be here all day. We can donate from the age of 17 until we’re 61 or 62. “This campaign is carried out every three months in each municipality, but also in universities, institutions and different establishments to promote voluntary blood donation in Juigalpa,” concluded Dr. Dilma Sirias, delegate of Silais Chontales.
