Before that, the government decided to open the tap for the export of sea sand. This was marked by a review of two Regulations of the Minister of Trade (Permendag).
Firstly, a review of the Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 20 of 2024 regarding the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 22 of 2023 regarding Prohibited Goods for Export and secondly the Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 21 of 2024 a regarding the second amendment to the regulation. of the Minister of Trade No. 23 of 2023 regarding Export Policies and Regulations.
“Yes, the plan is to export sea sand. Strong government regulations. And the reason is always to bring income to the state, so that the state can get more funds from this activity,” said Muzani.
